I ran for years in Mediterranean climates without flaps because I bought the van like that but got educated on here so fitted a set and they do make a difference ... I also have a spare set in the garage.... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
I did get it down to 0.3 but I thought the guidelines were between 0.07 and 0.15. That’s ok to go lower,is it? I was thinking of heat expansion. It’s not too late to do, as my oil seal hasn’t arrived yet…
Then don't do it now! We all have our "life stuff" to deal with, I ain't going to list mine because they have nothing to do with this. I can still add up though. Your post was just too funny to resist - snotty is advising you to have MORE end float so you say you didn't know it could be LESS, then list some numbers with the decimal point in random places expecting a sensible answer? You do this all the time when anyone else would just think for themselves. Stop acting like an idiot and people won't think you are one? So much time on here posting on every single thread yet you claim to be sooooo busy with all your sick relatives. If you're not posting on here your camping somewhere or both. I think you're just full of Marmite. Right, I'm off to other places, Lasty got you bang on.
0.7 It says here. I got this from this very site. It says to set the endfloat to 0.7. I’m not an idiot I’m following the stuff that people post on here. I think you are the idiot, because you actually commented on it at the time.So perhaps I’m getting the decimal point in the wrong place…l
Trying too. Sometimes feel like jumping off a cliff and not have to worry about anything anymore, sometimes. But I can’t ,cos of the kids.
There you go again. 0.7 and 0.07. Which do you think is right? You do realise one is 10x as big as the other?
Meaningless photo TBH. But if you mean you set it to 0.07mm that's why snotty advised increasing it by 0.03 to 0.1mm. 0.07mm is the tight end of the spec, 0.1 is bang in the middle.
Assuming you zeroed the gauge at one end of crank travel, that is showing about 0.075mm. Each small mark is 0.01mm.
