  12. Mid 70s, saw 4 years of production, sold in at least 5 Western European markets as well as it's home market. Styling was in house. Couldn't believe I'd never seen or heard of this model!

    You'll be surprised to know who the designer was. I quite fancied on of these in period but I'm far too large and it isn't quick enough for me....:rolleyes:

    It's a Peter Stevens design: McLaren F1, Jaguar XJR-15. It's a Cypher, built on Reliant 850 running gear.

    I'm thinking the fringes of western European car manufacturing. In the 1970s the Spanish were ploughing their own furrow, maybe a SEAT?
