@Dean mitropoulos where are you in OZ? I may be able to point you in the right direction even though I live in the Snowy Mountains.
I am changing the front face, deformation panel, inner wind screen panel, both dog legs, a pillar outer skins on top. I am patching the a pillar inner valliance a pillar middle skin. i now have paint to strip and rust to remove.
any one have a opinion on the floor and the wheel tubs. they are not badly rusted only surface rust but the edges are rusted and not great from me removing the wheel arch
need more pictures of the arches tubs etc, looks like youre about to get carried away replacing genuine stuff with repro , that inner screen panel is pretty good , to be honest id repair that from the pictures and save a lot of time aggro and money
the fold lip where the dog legs weld under the wheel arch are rusted away. and have a bit of damage from removing the old wheel arch. i could maybe make something up my self.
Watch out for it going "ping" and deforming if you cut out much more -remember that VW would recommend the repairer should weld in frames first to stabilise the shape of the body when making massive metalwork changes.
VW made all these parts and as we know over time changed the front then completely stopped making buses.
JK had one hung on the wall in the parts collection area with a big NOT FOR SALE sign blue tacked to it , in a smug `here`s what you could have won` kinda way ...
