    Mine is a standard 1600 as well - I have had 70+ on the M6 but not deliberately - just got carried away following traffic - usually stick to 55.

    I once saw 80-ish on the downward slope of the snake pass into Glossp (?) .
    Standard 1600 , it wasn't a pleasant experience....

    Got the flywheel on and torqued up, including the graphite O-ring, 3 shims, oil seal and felt washer. I don't think I forgot/missed anything. I even remembered to give the new input shaft roller bearing a bit of grease first. I do still need to put a few drops of oil on the felt washer though

    Next up the pistons and barrels, and the joys of checking the compression ratio

    Got it out and washed the bacon fat from the outside, where I used it to shelter from the wind at techenders.

    Nowt today coz not long been up.
    Yesterday, drove it to Bushy park for a walk.
    Apparently the whole of SW London had the same idea.
    All the cars parks were full and they weren't letting anyone into the park.
    Just drove around with boy Herbert as shotgun.
    Listened to music and actually smiled in traffic.
    It made me happy just driving in the sun
