Is this the biggest socialist advance since the war?

  1. Oddly its been brought up a number of times with various governments and the answer has always been that it is overly expensive to means test for such a small amount. I wonder whats changed. What has changed is that if you universally means test across the whole demographic it gives you a shed load of information doesnt it... anyway, expect a U turn!

It was funded by your national insurance contributions. The same way it could be now. I am willing to pay more into it, so long as everyone else does their bit too and don't just take out if they can afford to pay in, and the rich should pay a bit more. Why not?

It's not though Bazza. They feed us so much rubbish and we swallow it hook line and sinker. when labour are in the toadies do everything in their power to unbalance their efforts that the country falls into confusion. We can't see the wood for the trees and then we stupidly vote in our creepy aristocracy puppets again. I am sick of them taking things off us that people fought hard to get for themselves. My gran died of cancer in 1950 because my grandad couldn't afford health or medicine. He went through the whole war and earned three bravery medals in the army, but when he came out he couldn't afford medicine for my gran. Then they brought in the welfare state because the country was on the brink of uproar. Those aristocrats and their puppets owe us ( our grandparents ) so much, yet deny us so much.
