I think you got it right. No one actually voted for the one they wanted. They voted against the one and things that they didn't want..
So Iraq have imposed similar restrictions as America have on immigration. Mexico are livid about the wall and the rest of us now have to put up with the backlash of Trump's right wing policies. Pahh! It was fine for the Americans to fund Irish republicans through the back door. It was great publicity for them and us supplying arms to the Taliban during the Russian invasion and fair play to payroll all sorts of anti socialist terrorists all around the globe while sat safely at home smoking their big cigars, but now it hits home and they have to deal with the same issues the rest of us have had to deal with for years ( immmigration, terrorism, poorer trade deficits ) they shut up shop and build walls. I know we are not innocent regarding these type of double standards, but to turn a country like America that was built on immigration and is the land of the free into a fortress for right wing rich and sod the rest is unbelievable. The fact is, they are not handling the backlash of things they stirred up in the middle east and the incredible success of the Chinese industrial uprising. Time to take a look at yourself America!
Let him come here I say, show him that we do things different, not that I think the petition has a farts chance in hell Of success. If we're going down the road of petitions, how about a petition for him to face John Humphrys on Today? He'd make mincemeat of the Combover King.
I don't think no-platforming is the answer. He is the elected president and we can be bigger and better than banning him. We can try to influence him for everyone's sake - but that's only possible if we engage with him.
Rich Hall the lovely US comedian has lots to say about the election and Donald Trump, google Rich Hall and Donald Trump to enjoy his comic look at events.
The intolerant harking on about the intolerant ... what gives you the right to judge who should vote and the outcome. There's worse people on the planet than Trump ... have a look at the countries with dictators around the world
"Clickdivism" is curse of the modern age. I've got a friend - she is Jeremy Corbyn in a skirt - who perpetually tweets all the petitions she's clicked on to "take action". When I point out that she's not actually doing anything, and that nobody gives a sh*t, she gets a bit huffy.
And if you click on the relevant part you can seesaw many people in Malaysia and all the other countries around the world have signed it
I had a bet with my lad that you would reply to that Not yet feeling any, but we will. Just like you misguided and ill informed brexit lot have done over here. It will create anti American feelings and wariness from neighbours.
The one positive point of the Donald visiting the UK is that, by all accounts, he'd be likely to smack Prince Charles in the mouth. For that alone, I'd let him in.
Since when have camper van people been peaceful and loving? The typical van owner lies underneath it in the rain shouting "Oh, you f****** b***** !".
Some are. Right wing bigots who fashion their replies to suit their particular argument aren't and seem to miss that peace out bit. Sick of hearing it on here tbh.
