I know it's a bit late to mention it, but I found the metalwork inside caused condensation even when the cupboard was rammed with stuff. I took cupboard back out and stuck 10mm closed cell foam over the whole van roof to stop it.

  2. yep too late :D

......I've been meaning to post some update for a while but been sooooo busy with the new baby, work, sorting out the house ready for the loft conversion, electrics on other peoples vans etc etc

but, I've fitted the retro sounds stereo & centre speaker and its good :) I have found the facia I ordered doesn't sit flush to the dash though so I might have to change it :(

centre speaker was a bit of a pig to fit, but got there in the end.

started wiring up the front heated screen.....but didn't finish as I need to do some mods to the new modular fuse board I'm going to fit

remade the rear seat kick panel so it is scribed to the shape of the van this time  .....and laminated it :)

laminated the top locker, and fitted it, and it looks good :)

I even took it out a couple of weeks back ......and it broke down. Turned out to be the rotor arm brass segment had bent out of shape  .....fortunately I had ordered a new electronic dizzy a couple of days before, so when that arrived I swapped out the whole dizzy, timed it up and it seems to be running much better (although I've not had time to take it out for a run yet)

....hoping to laminate the door for the locker this week ....if I get time, and if I get a chance I'll post up some pics

  7. Hi Dale, I'm still at it .....slowly, you'll have the 2nd one done before I finish this one!!

To be fair, it has (did) have an MOT for the last few years, and really the only thing that isn't finished is the camping interior. I've not done much on it lately, the rear cupboard is laminated now and in (still got to finish the door for it!)

and I've fitted a retrosounds stereo

But I've had another baby (well, Mrs D has!) since the last pics, so have had a loft conversion which has taken up most of my time ....as well as working away quite a bit over the last few years....hoping to crack on with it a little more this year.

To be honest, I'm not sure all 5 of us will fit in it for camping, so will probably only use it for days out and shows.

And to top it off I've just put a deposit down on a T5 caravelle to replace my daily driver  ...but I'm not getting rid of the bay :)

    I thought the natural progression was T2 = TLB, T5 / caravan = blunderbus?

  15. yes, its a PITA .....I was leaving it for a while incase they changed things back to how they were ....no luck there!

I've got them all backed up elsewhere as well as photo bucket, which I will go through to repost at some point, but I'm not looking forward to resizing them all to re-post. Not sure which pic was for which post either!!
