Thats a lovely pair of unmolested lips! :p

All too often the return lips are damaged and are real tricky to repair/replicate well.

Its looking good though, and is in a much better condition than the first fresh off the boat pics you posted 6 weeks back indicated, looks like the guys doing the bodywork know what they're doing too, looking forward to seeing this finished

  3. Couldent agree more:thumbsup:

But please ask ronaldo to drill the rivits out on the indicator housings and remove them instead of masking them

Ive seen busses painted that way and allthough its a top job after time the edges of the paint start to lift around the indicators and allow moisture to settle underneath

  4. Not much to report today, had a very late one last night with the engine - heads are on, torqued and valves adjusted - it's coming back together nicely!

  7. It's been a good day with Winnie, I'm expecting to see a painted shell when I visit the paint shop tomorrow which is really exciting! The white part is done, it's just the brown now. I'm hoping to bring the body back to my workshop on Friday so I and the family can crack on over the weekend. Pat, a good customer of mine who's between jobs as a kitchen fitter has been drafted in to repair Winnie's interior cupboards and laminate - he's doing a really cracking job so far!! We got another rear cupboard from RCI on eBay, but it still needs some work...

it's certainly a resto most of us can only dream about, fair play for (obviously) having the money, time, and mates to get it done this fast, it'll certainly make mine look like a shed if I ever park next to it!

This must surely win an award for speedy resto of the year?
