Things have been a bit held up in the bodyshop, but work has started in earnest now and we expect completion next week - things are starting to get a bit tight. ....but I am making good progress with the engine and collecting important bits and bobs....
Re: the stripes - your best bet is probably one of those companies that makes vinyl decals for motorhomes - you know the ones, where they have the coloured swooshes down the sides to break up the expanse of white. I got some italian stripes for my wife's Fiat 500 made by a company not far from me.
Nice suggestion re stripes, I hadn't thought of that, however I have found just the person for this job - he just doesn't know it yet!!
Hang on bruv i cant here ya Yo bruv let me turn the stereo down Nah man flat out busy init Another one of those old campervans bruv Nah not to bad Nah bruv not rotten it a yank one init Yeah bruv bring us a nandos and another tub of filler Sweet laters
Trouble is Paradox, Ronaldo (in these pics, not the footballer) is Brazilian, so the conversation wouldn't have gone like that..... He's more of a KFC man, and they don't have Nando's in Bicester!!
Looking good and still making swift progress. Think my £10 bet is safe though as cant see it being finished by next week.
Winnie's bodywork is full steam ahead, having a first coat of primer tomorrow, but I must say I'm really impressed with how straight this bus is, she's going to come out lovely! Ronaldo is doing an amazing job!
You gotta go red and yellow with a name like Winnie! Looking good, bet you're all excited for when it's all finished
Lovely clean and rust free.....mmmmm This was the worst part of the body, needed a fair bit of welding which meant it got a bit wobbly... Hence the filler, but it's solid rust free metal so I guess that's ok... And it's lovely now!
Interesting to see its white paint under the brown Again, the sand blasting has got rid of the nasty rust
