  4. The comments about too much stuff is plausible for you normal camper owners but us few with twin sliders have naff all space.

The only reason I'm looking for one is to tow mini bumble to shows, I'd get a roof rack for extra storage.

  7. Just bought a Franc GA150 for ours after much dilebration. Main reason was that the Fiamma takes mine and the wife's bikes on the back but we had to put my sons in the van and after getting a dog as well it just became too much. Used it at Alive N Dubbin last weekend for the first time and very impressed. Hardly know it's there and will definately be one of those extras that once you have one, you wouldn't be without one. Looking to get a tow bar fitted to one of our daily drivers to use for runs to the tip and collecting fire wood now.

  8. Ill be buying an ex forces sankey trailer once my bus is finished and converting it to my needs

  9. i would like a trailer to take stuff in but i have nowhere to store it :( oh and no tow bar
i agree that with kids and a day bus with no stoarge space everything just put in boxes or bags and just piled in
so to put firewood, bbq, bikes and all the other junk in will stop the bus getting damaged and leave room to get people in it.

  10. Now the crewie has gone, I'm currently trawling ebay for a trailer !!!

  19. So how much does it affect fuel consumption - we've got a 2-litre T4 engine, so are getting anywhere between 17 and 24mpg without (depending on the steepness of hills etc).

Not so much of an issue here with petrol at anywhere between 61 & 67p per litre (about 91 octane in RON terms), but would still be nice to know - it's so easy to do 1,000 mile+ round trips, even for a weekend!
