Does that wheel come with it .....

  2. I got the posh kit like new cars hijacked from a Honda Civic, and the spray seal stuff........ which will be fine until a tyre gets properly damaged rather than just punctured, then I am relying on the RAC........ again !

I like it on the front. Not in the way of anything and seems like VW camper thing. My wheel has been stripped and painted by a bodyshop so looks smart.

  4. that's one of my many spares :D

  5. That's what I do. I've also cut a piece of 18mm ply to fit in the well to level it up, and an extra piece of foam to go on top.

  6. I like that Paul. I assume (if you dont weld the bolts in for the wheel) that this would fit on either side?

  8. No, I've put a set in the tube to hug it into the van a little more... but handing isn't an issue

  9. My old bus had the spare in the boot, had a piece of foam cut and covered to match the bed the same size as the hole left by taking the wheel out so you could use the whole bed.
New bus has a spare which has a studded tyre as it came from Sweden - hope I never need to put that on - may be a bit noisy!

  10. That reminds me, I must get a spare wheel.

  11. Does anyone know if you can get a space saver to fit?

  13. Am looking to mount mine in the front. I already have x4 bolt holes in the front panel (made by previous owner) just trying to figure out if a standard mount will line up with the holes I have already.

  14. Yes, I've got from one a Mercedes 320CDI.
