Where is your spare wheel?

Currently mine is sat on the front of the bus & not looking very nice. I went to put it in the boot where the spare replacement should go, but this totally scuppers the dimensions of the bed and the can only really fit one person in the bed (as there are cupboards running down the drivers side of the bus)

Where do you all store your bus?

in the shed i need the space inside for my propex.

 

Lord Congi - Do you have any photos of the wheel on the back? can you get into the engine ok?

 

We are looking to reproduce the spare wheel carrier of the Landmark - I'll see if I can find a photo.

It swings out to give access to the engine bay.

So many of the pics seem to have the VW badge at the front of the bus - but doesn't seem that many have the wheel on the boot, so they must be hidden elsewhere...

Under the bed? i'll try under the passenger seat, but pretty sure it won't fit as I don't have a bench.

 

On the bull/roo bars at the front

 

In the rear spare rear well. Nothing wrong with it there. Take it out and put it under the bus when camping.

What did you do with the four holes in the front of the bus?

 

Most new cars don't come with spare wheels just a posh can of run flat.

 

i have an idea . how about cutting out the spare wheel hole to allow the spare wheel to drop down into the engine bay, should be enough room for it to drop low enough to put foam over it. my pickup has it under the front seat but my van is non walk through so its under the seat on that too.
