What the hell is 10-30 oil for

My honda accord diesel had oil like water - they recommended checking the oil level every 1000 miles as it would get burned off by the turbo

I played roulette and never checked in the 2 years I had it. Nice car, went like Marmite off a shovel and stuck to the road like Marmite to a blanket
