If you can remember... Mine start started with one of those old Morris Oxfords (like a big Morris Minor), then moved on to the sheer luxury of a green and white Hillman Minx, with chrome shell exhaust trim. Once he was on the up, he had two Humber Sceptres (bloody horrible things), a Rover 2000TC (nice), then two V8 Rover SD1s (lovely cars, if you ignored the fact that the boot filled up with water ). SD1s still look classy today. Finished his days with an 80s Mercedes W123, which was like a motorised sofa, but still a nice car. Any more?
My dad had a motorbike and sidecar for a family of 5,big sis rode pillion, other sis in the back,me on mums lap in the front.
A Cortina mk1 1500gt estate is the first one I recall. 71 Cortina mk3 2000 GXL Rover 2000TC Then company cars for decades. He retired taking his Cavalier, then had a couple of Toyota Rav 4s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I remember Dad having vans to start with, a Morris Minor van that would only start of the crank handle, a couple of Bedford CFs'. The first car I can remember was a Hillman Hunter estate followed by a Triumph Stag which is still in the family. A shoddy Scimitar GTE that looked amazing for its time but was terrible in reality was the end of Dads only buy British view and what followed was a string of underwhelming Ford Escorts. His last car of note was a 1947 MG TC which was a real blast, shame he sold it but he did do very well on the deal
You'd lot is not going to like this lot .... Souped Austin A40 then always new, often "mould breaking", always auto .... Nash Metropolitan Vauxhall VX490 (or was that part of the reg?) Austin Maxi (Aaaaaghh!) Renault 16 Renault 16tx Renault 16 (!) Renault Fuego (hahaha!) Vauxhall Cavalier Nissan Primera mk1 Nissan Primera mk2 Toyota Prius ..... Good job he hasn't been a role model in the garage department!
I remember a big Austin, maroon colour when in b'ham. Then on the Isle of Wight a white triumph toledo with sunroof. And his love a triumph speed twin 500cc motor bike which I had a go on at 14.
1971 Cortina 2000 GXL had the 4 clocks in the centre console, just like our campers the fuel gauge never worked as it should
My dad bought a fleet of moskvich vans for his business. I need say no more other than his car choices were and are very bad!
Not to sure of his first, because he bribed a driving examiner in Kano for his license. Remember that he had a penchant for Fiats. 1100 and a 1300 b then a 600D while overseas. Back in UK he had a 59 beetle and then a 1969 1500 Orange beetle which I inherited. The 59 I converted into a LDV buggy with a 1600 TL motor..

Oh the shame ..... the SHAME! On a side note, the mk 1 was the car I chose to demonstrate (in diagram form) one of my earlier dumba55 design ideas: a primary deflector windscreen to improve aerodynamics ... By the time the mk 2 turned up it was toooooootally obsolete
Having been a Vauxhall tech for almost 35 years I could argue that a 1994 mk3 Cavalier could possibly be the ultimate car of all time ever.

My dad started with motorbikes ending up with many Vincent’s, even putting a side car on one when I was born. If only he’d kept them,he would have been a billionaire. Two bay window campers were in the very long list and a couple of Morgan’s. Two Cavaliers as well that I sold him lol
