Can't understand all these issues with stinking items ....jesus the buses stink of alsorts anyway, make a nice change if you ask me .

 

If the smell of VAG gets too much you could always get the shake n vac out

I think it cause we are in the UK and accept the bad quality too readily .
I watch many restoration projects in America and they always comment on quality of parts being so good . Never hear them complain of bad quality .
Its all our own fault

 

Have a look on The Samba or Itinerant Aircooled. Plenty of crap parts being complained about on there.

 

have you seen most America restos, , junk repro parts , made of fillet cars

 

Just be thankful the part wasnt made by VAG Inc. of North America......
