Yup that’s what they told me on the phone, shame it’s not made clear on the website as I would have paid with a card
'Tis true. They'll take the delivery address off the Paypal notification, whatever you've written elsewhere.
I had the same problem with my dash mat from madmatz but it did lose its smell eventually and then I was able to fit onto dash. Suppose it was worth the wait but wont buy another or recommend.
The price and fit is ok, its just the strong smell from it is off putting for a period of weeks! I bought mine over the winter and hung the mat up in the garage until ok.
Agreed and presume their place is non smoking. Never had these smells on air hoses before but its a consumers market so wont be using them in future. Sent from my SM-A405FN using Tapatalk
Always found the guys at Heritage very helpful. They stock more aircooled parts than most of their competitors. And like other retailers most are aftermarket copy parts, some are good quality some are not. Unfortunately new old stock OE parts are like rocking horse s**t now. We have to shop round and make an educated guess or run it past the latebay community before purchasing for some expert advice
Good point. Maybe the airhose the OP bought was NOS from the days when the production line was a smokers paradise! Not sure I'd be complaining if that was the case considering the crap we can be dealt with now from the aftermarket... #moveon
The quality of the parts is an altogether different issue, as a lot of it is poor, even if you pay for the so called premium option. However to give VWH their dues, when I had my bus in the workshop last summer for the gearbox swap, I found we needed a new rubber boot for the alternator as mine was split. A small part but I couldn't put the engine back in until I got it. I phoned VWH up about 10 mins before they closed, ordered it and paid for a timed delivery directly to the garage and it arrived as planned the next day. They could have easily said it was too late that day.
