You're welcome into my world Mark, it's fluffy and all the corners have been rounded off so I don't hurt myself.
That's not an urban myth...it's actually true....but when the original feature appeared in the 'House and Home' section of Old Moore's Almanac (c.1890's) there was a error, which was never corrected before it went to print....hence the 'myth' became enshrined.... The published version states: "The Common house spider (Tegeneria duellica) may be deterred from living rooms and other dwelling places by placing Horse Chestnuts in their usual hiding places, such as the corners of rooms" The complete version without the omission should have read: "The Common house spider (Tegeneria duellica) may be deterred from playing "Find the Conker" in living rooms and other dwelling places by placing Horse Chestnuts in their usual hiding places, such as the corners of rooms"
The United Arab Emirates have always banned the tv cartoon The Flintstones . The govenment believe their people would not understand the humour ... But the people of Abu Dhabi do. Think about it
That's not true. On my T2 the sign on the dash is on the right but I fill my van up on the left hand side.
