  6. Hi there,

Interesting reading-these look just the ticket as with the dormobile bed the seatbelt has a tendency to slip round the side of the seat rather than sit nicely over the top of the shoulder. Covers would be nice too but in the absence of these how much for a pair of brackets, assuming the off-side is not a prob for a crossover...:)

    Cheers,

    Olly

Does you van have the filler neck bit sticking out in the back? Do you have a flap on your fuel filler ?

Without the covers they are £170 a pair including post

  8. Hi there,

I do have a flap (cue sniggers:p) but as far as I can remember I don't have the sticky-outy filler neck (it's a '72 MY) but I will check- it's usually covered up by the dormobile cushion that rests on the boot box so I may be mistaken...

    TTFN,

    Olly

  9. Hello again, just wondering if anyone has the measurement for the extra extension height above the original mounting hole (beneath the window seal) that these brackets offer?

    Cheers,

    Olly

I can have a measure this evening but off hand I think its around 5 or 6 inches

  11. Ello ello, had a look tonight and I think I'm good for both the near- and offside brackets. Only pain is that it looks as though the captive nuts aren't well lined up with the hole in the skin for the bottom holes thanks to the wonky Aussie assembly but nowt a file won't sort out hopefully! Out of interest, do you know the thread size of the lower bolts so I can acquire some, assuming they don't come with the bolts? If you pm me your details I can wing you over some funds for a pair and get you my address details tomorrow morning:)

    Cheers,

    Olly

  13. Cheers, paypal'd you the funds for a pair and i'll pm you with the postage details:D Sods law says that I found every sized bolt in the workshop (not mine;)) but m8s...!

Thanks again and look forward to fitting- think there's just enough space on the nearside to avoid hacking the dormobile boot box- can post pics afterwards if anyone is interested to see how i get on? Just need to get new belts as I'd rather have a vertical reel at the bottom out of harms way, as often at the mo the belt doesn't retract properly as it twists, which should be avoided having a hanger on the bracket and the reel on the bottom.

    TTFN,

    Olly
