I thought that 205 was the widest you could go on the front without having to limit the turning circle?
Because theres even less choice of all terrain type tyre in anything narrower Ideally like you id like 5 stock sized tyres with an all terrain grip But apart from importing them from the states or new zealand i cant find any
What's this? I can't get my head around the size... http://www.tyremen.co.uk/product/2155/27850r14-(95s)-all-terrain-ta-ko.aspx
Hankook RA10 Stock size. Correct load rating. Winter/snow/all season tyre. Not all terrain, but a good compromise. Good price too
I think that's a 230 width... going on the 27mm and the 850% I multiplied 27 by 8.5 to get 229.5.... Sound right to you?
What's the 27mm though? Profile looks a bit more than that! Looks too wide anyway, but at least it's a 14" one and in the UK.
27mm is the width plus 850%, profile is 95 I've never seen a tire sized like that.. worth dropping them an email or a phone call to see what they have to say!! I think that they'll be 230/95/14s which is a damn tall tire!!
ok, so they're actually an imperial tire... a quick conversion throws them up as 216/76/14 which isn't too bad a size!! Probably work quite well on your van too Para... saves a load of faff sorting out 15in rims!!
If you give it a good scan it says that the tire is 8.5ins wide, so plug that into a tire converter 27/8.5/14, and it throws back the 216/76/14... worth a shout to them tho, see what's the metric conversion though!!
Im more optomistic now you and paul have started hutning round for some Straight onto stock wheels would save so much faffing
