What I will say is borris better not feck this up now. He’s been given a clear mandate by leave voters who are sick to the back teeth of being told that they were lied to, or are a bit stupid and need saving from themselves by the much brighter, less racist, more educated remainers. Who by the way lost the argument and lost the referendum. This is another undeniable loss to the remain side, who I hope now might actually get some humility and shut up and allow the country to move on with the long drawn out process of exiting the EU. borris has been lent, I suspect for a one off election a huge amount of labour votes, who voted tactically this time only on the brexit issue. what I want to see is borris use this gift of a majority for the good of the whole country, better hospitals, more GPs, improved police numbers, longer jail sentences, deportation of foreign criminals, an increase in the minimum wage, a sensible immigration policy that protects UK citizens jobs by making migrants justify why they should be here, exactly the same as Australia or the USA etc. I want the Labour Party to out all the loony hard line lefty momentum nutters that have been allowed to push out all the moderate centre left politicians from a party that’s meant to be for the working man. But has become a racist anti Semitic 70s throw back. id like the Liberal Democrat’s to actually get back to be a party of liberals as we all need someone to laugh at. perhaps the Green Party might reflect on why in a time where we’ve never had more exposure in the media about the perils of climate change, what with the angry kid all over the news etc, that they still can only manage one seat. They need to see why even passionate environmentalist people don’t vote for them as their ideas are too radical, seen as utterly fanciful and would lead to economic collapse. They need a more sensible approach that we could all get behind. In this time of climate change the Green Party should easily be the king makers in every parliament. They are getting it spectacularly wrong. Id like to see Nigel farage given a knighthood and a talk show.

I didn’t see any of the coverage, but I used to enjoy it in the past. I don’t think David Dimbleby does it any more does he, and of course Peter Snow and his Swingometer
