right, done 2 runs on the flat on the way to work sadly bolly don't do 60 in less than 20 secs.... the auto box has such long gearing it only gets into 3rd just about 55! fair acceleration up to 30 but 40 to 50 seems ages time give or take a second is 24 seconds as it stands but that is me just counting in my head and glancing at the cd player, i just left the phone pointing at the speedo, once i get home and put the video on you tube we'll see if it's close..... if it's 24 seconds i'll do it again wearing a dress just so i can have the 4 seconds off.
Nice one Ricky. I really should have done a time before I started the thread to get the ball rolling, but it's so hot and dry here my tyres have stuck to the driveway.
Last time I drag raced my bus bits of white wall flap were flung far and wide. One way of getting rid of (parts of) them anyway.
there you go then so even if i put a dress on i don't break the 20 second barrier by taking 4 seconds off....
Fantastic - but you need a better sound system I could hardly hear that! I had a "count in your head" go today, about 40 seconds, so better than it was looking yesterday.
If you had a manual with type 4 engine, you could have still been in 3rd at 60mph, but you only have 3 gears so ratios different on yours. T1 doesn't rev as high - into 4th before 50, then wait - a very long time...
