Well, I had a test run today, started the CD, but it finished before I got to 60mph. TBH I didn't get to 60mph as I ran out of road as well, halfway through the next track. I'll try again tomorrow with a longer track and a longer road but it's looking likely to be a beatable time. The track was over 3 1/2 minutes.
No cam today, need to borrow one, but did a test back home from my extra job this evening. Looks like it's close to a 6 sec. flat from 0-100km.ph ))))
bonus of no hills = better mpg than most, i'll be trying mine on the flat i wonder what the official 0-60 is on a 2 litre auto?
Now I really like this idea but I think the video needs to show 60mph on a sat nav : Woody runs big wheels so his speedo is well out!!! (55mph my bottom!) Im on low fronts so my speedo is out and I guess quite a few are so the only true 60mph will be on a sat nav! Im not much of a racer but will the 4 seconds make up for a slow bus because if I have to drag to beat woody damn squeeky I will step up to the plate!! ;D ;D Woodys proper engine against my old nazzed engine with a 4 second penalty is it worth the humiliation ???
I know with my small front tyres I'm 10% out so 66mph for me assuming good speedo accuracy. hmmm... No need to video Woody - that's optional, but it would make it funnier if you put your dress on and videoed it . Trust is the key on times, but we're all honest and there isn't a prize or anything. I don't have a sat nav BTW, or an Iphone or any stuff like that which is why I suggested the CD thing + we get music backing on the vids as well. Holmsen - If mine fell off a cliff I doubt it would get to 60 in 6 seconds!

I have my dress already and have scoped out a suitable stretch of track long enough to attain the magic 6 point 0. I will attempt to record the event this weekend. When the flag drops the BS stops.
I've checked my ol camera/mem card and I'm looking at 13 seconds of footage. Phone doesn't say how long so I'll try that and hope it's several minutes. Hoping to do a run later today when the battery's charged up, but no dressing up - not much point knocking 4 seconds off 5 minutes...
It was that potty mouth Ricky the roo what swore on the video. Much in the same vein you did that one time you swore I agree, but c'mon mate, life';s too short. I've got away with it loads of times - must just be luck.
In fairness to Ricky he did put a swearword warning on it & its only one word and thats not particularly clear either
yeah sorry guys, it was a bit strange getting to 60 in a few seconds in a bus, i can remove the vid if you like? on another note i've just got the van off the drive and am going for my sub 20 second time today i'll film it and put it up tonight, don't quite know how i'm gonna film the speedo and the cd player at once though although you tube has a timer on it so i might plant the throttle on the start of the song and work it out off the you tube clock.... good job i ain't got to change gear.
