    I'm so pleased with the colour, it looks be1ge when it's dull outside and almost lime when the sun is on it or artificial light.

  3. Stunning!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

  4. Really really nice, you picked a day for it today mind, weather wise

  5. Tell me about it! It's showing no signs of getting any better and the painter has been more than patient with it sitting there finished for a few days.

    Luckily managed to get back without getting wet so all good.

  6. Good stuff, looks like he's done a cracking job, looking forward to it going back together.

  7. Well I couldn't resist nipping to the workshop after tea to bolt a couple of bits on, not the type of things I should probably be concentrating on at the moment, but things that bolt on quick to make it look like a van again!

    I put the fresh air flaps back in along with the headlights and front bumper. All the family love the eyelids on the head lights, I can take or leave them really and I'm probably swaying to taking them off, comments welcomed, good or bad!! I also think some clear or smoked front indicator lenses are on the cards too.

  8. It's got a face!!!

    For me it has to be clear indicator lenses, that colour really does stand out. How long do you think it's going to take then? Go on have a guess, from now till your on the road?

  9. It's the first time I've put one back together so I don't really know, I plan on being out and about by May if I can.

    The trouble im having now is it seems so pristine I don't want any crusty old parts going anywhere near it :D

    I am realistic though and some good old solid parts will be going straight back on after a light clean up.

  10. Judging by your previous work, you'll be out in it before May.

    That's why We went with the "Rat" look, we can put any old crusty part on ha

    No doubt I will need a lot more but I'm now officially skint and hope I don't need to place any more big orders for a while! Can anybody tell me what these are? I ordered door rebuild kits with all trim and seals etc so I guess they are part of that, I just can't remember seeing anything like that when I stripped the doors, although that was a year ago and I have drank a lot since then!

    Also put the front grille back in, clear indicator lenses and a badge are getting ordered tomorrow.
