  1. This was promptly delivered by a man called Lee
    [IMG]
    Which I promptly unwrapped

The Rusty Lee bed came flat packed was fairly easy to assemble on my own so after 30 minutes I plucked up the courage to manoever it into the back on my own.

So a few days later and after getting a hand opening and closing to check positioning 2 12mm holes were drilled
    [IMG]
Bolted it into position and very pleased with the result

This was the first time I had ever fitted a RnR bed and highly recommend Rusty Lee I called him a few times and he was really helpful, I had never before used a RnR bed and was concerned it would not be as easy to use as I hoped but it is, opens and folds in seconds. I have more to post up but PC is playing up so another update soon.

  2. Next on the list [IMG]was to get some belts in the back again and rather than make more holes in the wheel arches we unbolted the bed and used those with a couple more holes drilled for the clicking into end, the reels bolted back into where they were before.

It feels a bit like one step forward 2 steps back as I've had to remove the front seats to send them off with the bed boards for upholstering

But I'm still mobile as long as it's just me

  3. @cakes Are you doing anything with those original seat covers? Your drivers seat looks in a lot better condition than mine!

  4. They are both in great condition and will be for sale as a pair when I get them back in around 4 weeks.

  5. Hi - I really like the design of your lino - would you be willing to let me know where you bought it please and what the design is called - many thx Paula

Another restoration thread I'm playing catcup on, Really nice nice tidy job all round, looking forward to seeing it finished.

  7. Your bus looks great, lovely work! I've had always had a soft spot for this shade of green....

  8. Wow! I've just received emails to say people are commenting on the bus :) so I suppose I should provide an update.

I pretty much finished the bus the day before I went camping last July and just got busy...... but I will take some pix and post them up. There's still stuff to do but isn't there always......

The flooring is manufactured by these people http://www.unnaturalflooring.com/products-page/unnatural-flooring/ and they list stockists, I got mine from Chorleywood in Hertfordshire.

    Thanks for the nice comments.
