The smaller holes are for injecting cavity wax the larger one on the rear valance is the factory hole for the towbar wiring
Thanks Paradox I meant to ask the guys not to fill them but didn't, the grommets had perished so it really looked like 2 random holes. My towbar has been wired in without using the bigger hole so nothing lost there but nice to know.
I was able to go and see the van today and although it's coming along I think having it back together and ready for camping on the 12th July is starting to look unlikely. Anyway here's a picture of the rear valance, the hole I now know is for the towbar cabling has not been filled. The boot lid in primer And the near side rear coming together It's taking longer than expected but I'm pleased to see nothing's being rushed, I think that makes some kind of sense. I haven't forgotten the pictures of the bed but I'm gonna have to move a lot of stuff to do this and that's not happening until some fine weather collides with my free time
Well I finally had time to pop down and see the van a few days ago and not a lot more has happened probably would of made sense to SORN it and put my insurance on hold. Anyway there There has been some progress so here's a couple of pix Close up of the much improved windscreen surround And the front of the van which I couldn't really get to due to the van being in a corner Well I'm off to Devon for a week now (obviously not in the moth) but I'm assured they just have to prepare the drivers door and when I get back I should see some paint on it, which would be great inside or outside I don't mind anywhere really!
Well we went to Devon for a week and enjoyed it so much we stayed for 2, definitely looking forward to going back in the van. As far as vans go things never seem to move along as fast as planned but I visited the moth today an it is all primed and ready for paint, so hopefully it won't be long until it's all green again!
Well I managed to visit the garage today and I was over the moon, grinning from ear to ear! It's nearly finished and I'm so pleased with how it looks. I'm expecting some pictures from the garage soon which show the whole van in primer etc but in no particular order here are the ones I could take. There are the doors wheels and bumpers left to paint then flat it back, polish it up and put the glass back in. The pictures taken by the garage are much better than mine so I will post them up when I get them.

Thanks Mork, I agree And here are the pictures taken by the garage. And more to follow in the next post
Yes and they were a bugger to fit, but I'm very happy with the way it's going so I'm pleased I didn't spend an extra £500 or so.
