  4. I didn't vote, I did mean to go & spoil the ballot paper as a protest vote but it was Beaujolais day so I got drunk instead.
I don't think much of the police or politicians so what's the point. This could be a good country if it wasn't for all the corruption.
We are not really in a democracy. Its more like a dictatorship, we are not given much choice of who to vote for & they are all told what do do anyway so the policies will remain the same. They are all the dodgyest lot anyway, our last 2 prime ministers (Blair & Brown)are convicted criminals.

  6. Can you imagine working for a company that only has 635 employees, but has the following Employee Statistics.

29 have been accused of spousal abuse,
7 have been arrested for fraud,
9 have been accused of writing bad cheques,
17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses,
3 have done time for assault,
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit,
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges,
8 have been arrested for shoplifting,
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits,
84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year,

and collectively, this year alone, they have cost the British tax payer £92,993,748 in expenses!

    Which organisation is this?

It's the 635 members of the House of Commons.

The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

What a bunch of crooks we have running our country - it says it all...

And just to top all that they probably have the best 'corporate' pension scheme in the country - whilst trying to ensure that everyone else has the worst possible!

This is enlightening chaps, particularly that many of you didn't vote in protest. Now if we could just remember this next time there's a general election, the weasels in westminster might be a bit more cautious in claiming they had a popular mandate to rob us.

I look on our democrazy thus: "Which bunch of robber barons do you want robbing you just short of mutiny and revolution and wasting all you money?"

I'm proud to say I've never voted. ;D General elections, swinging to one party and then the other are clearly decided by people who know so little about politics and are so daft, they can't make up their minds whether they're Left wing or Right.

  9. Also I used to go and spoil my ballot, as my dad told me that they are counted, until the last election when I did a little research and found that spoilt ballot papers of any kind are instantly binned and not counted in anyway. So the options are vote or don't, and in turn disrespect the countless lost lives for the right to vote.

    Nice one government.

  11. I used to vote but the last time I chose not too, we don't really live in a democracy anymore. They are all in the same club, are members of the Masons etc. I'm not wasting my time playing their games.
