If he goes through life without the nickname 'Field' then we are doing nicknames a disservice.


Btw - 9 year old kid, 23 year old mother - might explain the lack of thought with his name....

Did no one in the family say hang on, we have a name that sounds a bit like the notorious Nazi - let's not give the kid a military rank for a first name - leave alone pretty much the exact one!

 

Don't mean to generalise but anyone with a 9 year old child at the age of 23 is i think fairly unlikely to have got a stellar education, and most yoots seem to have little knowledge or interest in history beyond last years X Factor so I doubt she's even heard of Hermann Goering.....she'd probably think its a fancy shampoo or a type of wine lol
