  2. Well i did at first mixed with a bit of water, but it was so hot it dried up before we could get the window in. After much faffing around I used a thin smear of grease. However the window surrounds were newly painted around 3 months ago and i did cut back the paint and wax it with autoglym before the windows went in so hopefully all should be good

Just googled the "soap" as it was for babies it doesnt contain Sodium Trideceth Sulfate so even better, well spotted!

  5. Took a drive through the Fens up to Dubs and Classics to get a few upgrades and an MOT. Nicest MOT trip so far! Bit scary driving beside a river ten feet above you...the Fens are weird.

  10. Ooops! not too much damage I hope. I did the same in my mini many years ago! Caught it in time just like you.

  11. Yes not too bad, just a bit of carpet and some new material for the seat. Seatbelt mount looks good though!

  17. I see someone bought you an appropriate splitty tea towel. I was given the same one, didn't have the heart to tell them. But then again I should nip this in the bud now.

  19. Just added split conduit to the wiring loom & leisure battery wiring to tidy it up. Looks good. Didn't have my phone to show off the handy work.
Conduit in baby blue so it fits in nicely.

  20. What a day!!!! Engine went straight back in no problems and ...........

Started up after a couple of turns

Bit of retuning the valve clearance and it sings.

    So chuffed with myself.

Just need to tidy up the wiring and the rest of the tinware, engine seal, tow bar and bumper.

Camping next bank holiday is looking promising.
