Tidy engine, tidy mind

It's one of those rubbery LED strips stuck to the roof just behind the engine lid door. The Chinese seem to have got the hang of making them. Mine's on a door switch that was there already, but as it only draws a few hundred milliamps (less than a tail light bulb), you could wire it straight to the sidelights. Beats holding a torch in your mouth

Think `distressed` would be an understatement for mi old one , most had been in since 1979 - `distraught` would be a more apt description

 

"Careworn"? I'm sure there's a word. Any estate agents on here?

Couldn't see a name, unfortunately. Did buy a couple of Chinese ones, but they fell to pieces after five minutes use.

I got some from brickwerks, haven't fitted them yet but the seem quite sturdy. Have you put yours in the walk through?
