  1. I always seem to miss the h out of cusion! strange!

    See the first post. I can't see it myself, I'd weld it in and push the engine in on a skate board, or push van to engine, but Keith will have his reasons which I tried to tease out of him by suggesting welding it up. :D

    Thought it was some fancy foreign thing. :)

  4. Nah - just did a search - 10 hits! My spelling isnt the best. Actually its my typing thats usually the issue!

  5. I concur...he should weld it up and make a quick release skate board dolly....;)

  6. or some inter-bred relation (with similarly poor spelling)

  7. or dyslexic soap

  8. Personally I would remove all the floor and cut some ply-board ,then bolt it to the crossy things..

  9. :)
    I really need to be able to access the engine from the top, the oil filler is up there along with the exp bottle which needed to be at the highest point, i also fitted the largest battery the space would take so that goes in and out of there as well.
    First port of call will be that nice @Top Banana Racing although he doesnt realise the thing that nearly cut his leg yesterday was my new lid :)

  10. make a wooden access hatch on hinges...:thinking:

  11. The hinges may look familiar to a chippy :)

  12. i saw the new hatch yesterday and it was really impressive ...:thumbsup:
    @Keith.H ..the v6 was impressive too....:cool:

  13. id just cut the rear hatch and surrounding metal out of a t25 and weld it in.the hatch is huge and locks down and seals and you could always modify the hatch itself if you needed clearance for the air cleaner.

  14. I tried that, £140 later i decided it was too big, goes over the fuel tank :(, open to offers on it tho, im used to losing money on my ebay purchases :D

  15. ah thats a shame as it would be quite a neat fix.i here you on loosing money on ebay,i do the same ive a shed full of stuff i bought that didnt fit or i didnt like the look of after fitting.its what makes the vw hobbie so expensive i think lol

  16. It seems to be an unwanted skill i have, i bid against others and pay a fortune, copy the ad, relist and the only bidder gets it for the opening price!
    WTF? :p
