Really should have got round to putting the fence panels up rather than just propping them up against the house.......

Still, at least it was the car not the camper

  3. Whoops :(
I don't don't often see fences like that up my way, too much wind resistance, all mine have gaps in them; otherwise they just don't stay up very long.

  4. But if you do put them up...they’ll only blow down again.

Biked out to the workshop in it yesterday! Wasn't actually that bad. A tail wind and no rain on the way.
Then by the time I came home most of the wind had died down and only light rain.
Cycle path I take near the River Stour has had flood water from the river over it for a few weeks, but noticeably deeper yesterday as it was nearly at the bottom of my disc brakes! Good fun.

    We will rebuild.

  10. ...until you forget where the path is, and go straight into the river ;). Almost did that when the Thames was flooded years ago.

S'ok as the path isn't alongside the river. Bike is crying out for some oil now though.

  12. If you put floats on it, you could pedal across Poole harbour to work

Just googled ShuttleBike.com. Over £1k for that "kit"! Can't quite work out if it's a joke or not?!

It's not like the A Team would have made.......BA would have welded it out of an old hospital bed and equipped with with a cabbage cannon.

We lost a brick from my faux chimney, missed one of the cars so that was lucky. Still gusty here in South Wales.

  16. I think I'd rather walk the long way round the harbour....

What is this "long sleeved shirt" you talk about? I've never seen one but have heard that soft southerners wear them when the temperature drops below freezing.

  18. @crossy2112 's wearing shorts and a string vest
