Found it! Bodged a quick repair in the rain and put lumps of 4x2 on top to keep it in place for now.

 

Rain has stopped and it's very still here in Rotherham.....also sunny, but then Barnsley is only 10mins up the road.

 

All heading to York as we speak. Nidd, Aire and Wharfe a bit bigger than normal. Did get a bit of proper storm when filling the motor, just like a hurricane for 10 minutes, well nasty.

 

Burgh le marsh near Skegness. It's all run by volunteers so they may not have the funds to fix it

Polly and I were just exchanging falafel recipes. It’s nothing serious.

 

If that was my house I’d be cacking it right now. That water doesn’t look very far from over topping the wall and flooding that house, which looks awfully low compared to the level of the water.
