  1. How do i get it off the dowel?

  2. Piece of wood to cushion the blow placed across one aperture then a good tap with a hammer to pivot the casting around the dowel, to loosen it.

  3. I've got it turning a little. I'll keep working it baby.

  4. Can the dowel be bashed out from the back, or will that break something?

  5. Done it. Cheers

  8. Next question.
How do I get the wheel shafted out?
Do disconnect the drive shafted at hub end or both ends?
Does the wheel shafted just tapped out?

  9. You lot are to slow. I've done it now.

So he doesn't have to go camping this weekend.

  13. New wheel bearings

  14. Are you going to press them out with a proper press?
If so make sure you mark up the bearing carrier position relative to the spring plate before you take it apart

  15. I'm just gonna bash em out and bash em in on the van. Hopefully.

  16. Then there was no need to remove the backing plate
Daisy did his on the van at techenders
As long as you drive them in square you should be fine
The back one is held in with a circlip

  19. It would also have saved me snapping the bleed nipped off.
