So who has lit the fire or turned the heating on????

Gave in to the moaning fom the wife and kids today, it's like bloody sauna in here now.!!

 

We've got the heating on, but it's only for training purposes.

Because in less than 24 hours we will be in 32-36 C Turkey

 

I wish I could turn mine on but the gas people can't find the pipe in the road to connect it to my new central heating system they have tried twice with no luck and now need to close the road and bring out a big digger. Silly me has taken all the old storage heaters off the walls they come back on the 2nd Oct. too have another go! I'm starting to get worried!

 

our coal effect gasfire broke a couple of years ago - still not got it fixed we got rads in the house but i ain't had them on yet if i'm in on my own - the mrs has on low she feels the cold, i'm a bit nippy this morning though.

 

I can announce that we just had the heating on for 15 minutes....and then had to turn it off again due to getting too hot :

 

Lucky you! 12 degrees in my kitchen today... Need warmth soon....

 

it's a beautiful sunny day here in notts. bit of a chill this morning but nothing a cardi couldn't sort out.
been washing all morning as i suspect it may be the last drying day of the year.

obviously i'll have the heating on later but for now the windows are open, sheets are drying and the sun is shining

 

Fire on,beer in hand just need to order the curry.

i've now put the wool door curtains up and got the draught excluders out of summer hiding. it does seem a ittle early to be doing this

 

We had our woodburner going tonight. No pictures, I'm too ashamed of the Christmas decorations still hanging off it. :-[
