So who has lit the fire or turned the heating on????

Only the middle of September but boy aren't the nights cold.

What's happening with the seasons? Where did those long light evenings go? Summer over very quick this year (did it even start?) going to be a long winter.

 

i had the heating on in august :-[ not every night but some. had it on most evenings this week, but then i'm nesh

 

Not done so yet, but don't think its going to be long, normally try and at least get to October

 

i sleep with both windows open and still have my 3.5 tog duvet!! and i'm still warm!! :-

 

Shut our windows last night for the first time - they stayed open all winter last year.

 

Lit a fire the last two nights

 

No heating at Zed Mansions. I'm skint in a big draughty old house and I've already burnt all the trees that were in the garden - jumpers and thermals for me, but it's not really cold yet, just colder than it was. I hate the cold, not an ounce of blubber.

 

Ive got blubber but still cold. Bit heating on for an hour last nite

 

We try and hold out as long as possible before putting the heating on. Duvets around the house usually. Mind you, can't beat a good evening in front of the telly on the sofa together under the duvet. Just got hold of the whole of Lilyhammer series 1 so looks like we've got something decent to watch.....

 

I'm the site manager for a large facility with over a thousand people occupying the buildings everyday. I'm also the sites energy manager and I refuse to have the heating on this early despite numerous demands. Makes me very popular NOT.
Too many people these days do not dress appropriately to the seasons and believe they should wear summer clothing at work even in mid winter

 

No heating on as yet, still in short sleeve order ) Another couple of weeks and the temperature may take a dip then it'll go on as well as long sleeves etc.
