is yours double rail , mines just single with a fixing flange on top n i pop rivet to bus thru that flange ,mine comes from front round bend n overlaps on straight all in the same plane as it were .
They don't do large lengths anymore and when I fitted, there wasn't enough room. I had fitted the cab rails first and then realised the door rail would need to be higher so that's why it's like that.
no i mean yours looks like a double runner two runners not one , i just put one ontop the other see my pics on page before see what i mean ?
the other over lap you want behind the mirror at the front edit. or sorry you start each side of the mirror with your length
Ahh I see, no I didn't do that I just butted them up near the mirror but that would've been better I suppose.
Thanks guys, it's looking like bend it and attach it above the slider rail. A mate of mine once had an early with gliss rails and his were definitely attached to the curved bit of the slider rail but I have no clue how you could attach it with going through the slider track. He didn't do a company did so I can't even ask him
had the same issue, so what you do is grind/saw/file the removeable tip of the pop rivetter to fit in.....they're only tiny pop rivets anyway.....
hey @Lardy .....any chance you could post a pic or two of the curtains that go over back of the cab, by the bulkheads? been meaning to do this on mine for ages
