He is based in Castledermot, Kildare. He sold me the bus blasted as part of our deal. I'm glad I got it blasted even though it's scary what it shows up. but at least the bus isn't hiding anything from you and working on it is much cleaner

howdy all, I have to admit, progress has been non existent since christmas. But I need to get back to it and decided to start at the front this time so hopefully when the big panels go on, I'll feel like I'm making some progress. The only thing is, the airvent behind the front panel is very bad and I'm not sure where to get a replacement. please have a look at the photos. any suggestions for repair or replacement welcome.
Looks like your going to need a body cut as the airbox isnt available to buy new I think @taypic is cutting some vans up

Hi all, In another thread I was talking about what paint to go with. I was thinking recently about going with the factory colour. Where would I find the paint code on the bus? The log book says its grey and the only grey for a 79 I can find is L345 Light Grey. Does this look like L345 to anyone? anyone got any pics of L345 panel vans so I know what they look like please?
