I reckon once you've decided on how it's getting wrapped the bumpers will fade into the background a bit. You're probably only noticing them so much because the vans all white at the moment.
If it was my van I'd leave a decision about the bumpers until a lot later down the refit.

I felt mine was under powered when I got it, yours will have more than mine and yeah my first gear is also very short, Iv'e put bigger that standard tyres on to up rate the top end gearing a bit as well

That sounds like a good plan, turning them into a deliberate part of the colour scheme. Happy days dreaming of things to do to it Eh? That's one of the big pleasures of owning a vehicle which you can alter and modify.

yep, i felt a bit bad messing with the bay 'cos it was a semi limited edition and pretty original, but getting this from a plain van to how i want is good fun, just wish i could do it all asap but cash doesn't let me.

the 2 litre engine in mine is the same through the range, they start at 88 then 102 then 140 and then 170, all from a 4 pot 2 litre just mapped different, but the transmission is different for 140/170 has 6 gears and stronger, they reckon 140 is just about as much as you want with the 5 speed, to be fair it's no slouch at 102 in my opinion, if i mapped it i'd go for mpg over speed.

I reckon part of what makes it fun is having to take your time. You get new ideas and the plan evolves as you work and get things done. I believe you end up with a much better finished article than if you just gave a company a big cheque and said "do a roof and an interior and I'll collect it when you've finished".

Yeah 140's ok and still within tolerances, he reckons my mpg will stay the same unless I start thraping it, It just gets there a bit quicker and easier

Curtains realistically is all I need to go camping.
Bed fabric is the same as the original seats "place" 4 inch blue foam, feels a bit firm but we usually have a materess topper as well.
