Seems like a pointless exercise to me.

  2. Just bought a new speedo as mine was busted & seen this thread - does it matter which side you pull out the metal bar out from and how far do you need to pull it? Just far enough to clear the hole it goes through then pull it to one side? then do the dials turn independantly of each other and do you need to slide them down the bar to disengage the adjacent dial?

    thanks

I once drove all the way to the East coast to see a van that was advertised as having only done 6k, when I got there it looked like it had done 6000,6000, when I pointed out I had driven all day and the reading on the speedo wasn't actually what the van had done he looked amazed, stupid prat (hope your not on here, green panel van!} was an EB though.

  4. The ends are bent so straighten the ends of the bar with good quality needle nose pliers and pull from either end then lift the bar slightly and move the numbers i used a cocktail stick as my fingers aint dainty

Once you have it in front of you it makes easy sense

  8. PIE (what an ace name - I am wanting to eat him already) must be a top bloke if he is trying to train 3 spaniels!

We have been trying to train our cockador (cocker spaniel/lab cross) for 6 months now and she is still as mad a a fish.

    Any tips?

Noticed the mileage on my bus has been the same since it was imported to the Uk in 2007!

Sounds like you need a new speedo, if its kph I have one in the garage you can have

  10. I'll probably have to do the same at some point, as I'll not want to see my dads, or grandads guns go down the road

  12. Got an mph speedo but managed to get one sorted now, but many thanks for the offer PIE.

We are in Solihull, nr Birmingham - our little Brannie is pretty good as sitting, waiting, fetching, etc, but just has so much energy she cannot sit still and eats everything, and I mean everything. U cannot take your eyes off her for a minute.
