concentrate on getting your interior finished ......that way if they kick you out, you can live in the bus ....I'm guessing they would have to go through the whole procedure again to get your bus moved if your living in it .....it takes the council ages to move travellers along .....so it would buy you more time to finish the van
The interior is already sorted, albeit a bit the worse for wear from having my tools and various panels stored in it lol
Not mich progress this week, due to a lack of welding wire and panels to weld in lol the good news is that a set of wheels i sold on thiefbay were picked up this afternoon and thats covered the cost of my panel order on their own meaning the other stuff ive sold will more than cover the other stuff I have my eye on doing. Order going in to Schofields tomorrow afternoon once ive been to the bank to pay it in, so should have them for the weekend hopefully.
If it's in stock schofields are superb with their deliveries, everything I've ordered has arrived first thing the next day.
Ps. Don't forget to ask for discount if you're ordering quite a few panels, I ordered about £900 worth and got a cracking discount.
Yeah theyre usually pretty good with the delivery, and UPS are generally spot on. I usually get the 5% latebay discount, but I never usually order more than 100 quid so I doubt theyll see it as major business lol gonna be 266 quid this time though......heeeeeey big spen-dah!
7 1/4 of the time gone already, how time flies. Phone your supplier and ask for some discount. Tell them you're doing up your van and will no doubt be back for more, they can see you are from the stuff you're buying, sills aren't for the light-hearted. You might be surprised.
Disappointed by the lack of pictures @Luis Navarro . Want to see what you're gonna be potentially living in
I know......been twiddling my thumbs and trying to raise cash for 5 of the 7 lol Full steam ahead as soon as the metal gets here though. I finish work at 1 most days and its light til 9 so I can feasibly put in a decent amount of hours per day on it..... im confident, if a little daunted
Anyone recommend a good source for a spotweld drill? was gonna use an 8mm titanium regular bit, but from reading up on here it sounds like a proper job bit is the way to go?
Sill panels ordered should be here saturday/ monday hopefully. Got the bus down off its stilts and took the cover off to air it out. Fired it up to keep things working and it started first prod and ticked over lovely. I really need to get on with removing the inner sills but my spotweld drill hasnt arrived yet and theres not much point in dragging the units out and pulling the ply floor up until it does. Anyway, couple of pics: Cant decide which side window looks best?
I think the louvre one suits the look of your bus better, although that could just be because the turquoise half a slider looks a bit camp next to the tough looking aged neptune blue
My immediate ones dont. The ones that do live the other end of the estate.....and cant even see it from where they are
Compared to some on here its a minter! lol Maybe I should show them some pics and tell them how fortunate they are
