The village im in is 70% owned by the lord of the local estate and has been owned by the family for years on end Ive sat and drank with the fella a few times now and i know hes top notch He doesent come across as landed gentry at all He does remind me of zed when he talks about some stuff Living here is like downton abbey but we as a family love it Did i mention im happy here Lef wait till you see my garden pics in spring There as some very established traditional plants here
Oh and ive been of my medication for ages and im doing great I never realised how much prozac fluffs up your mind and im glad to be rid although i needed it i understand that
It seems you have your mind made up, and judging by your recent answers to previous questions I can honestly say that given your circumstances I can see your logic. As a family man myself, family always comes first. As you said previously you are now living in an area which you would probably have wanted to camp in (Positive). I am sure we will all agree the "Paravan" can be replaced at some time in the near future, however you cannot replaces those important days with your family living in a lovely home. Para, I don't know you from "Adam" but the best of luck in your new episode of life.
Thanks dude and big hugs Ive had it so long and so much has changed Dont get me wrong i would love to keep it and use it as a countryside workhorse But in all honesty there are more pressing needs
nine thousand english pounds I think there may be on or two photos in this thread but if you need anymore taking just ask Its located just outside my front door
About a month ago I saw an american import that had had a mini resto costing £10k 6K bus before import resto and paint The owners loved it and were so happy Im pretty sure they wont be so happy next summer I do know the colour of mine will put most people off but as its fresh paint and over solid steel Im sure a grand would pay for a decent blowover Pay 6 to 8 maybe 10 grand for a bus and it will need work the next year at the latest Ther paravan is so well documented on its build and the standard i work to Its cheaper than a rebuild on an american import by the time its finished
I know the colour isn't everyone's choice but to be honest if you can finish it as much as poss and with some chrome dome wheel trims and headlight rings and a lows Ish stance I actually think it would look quite nice and not so military. A little bit of work to maximise the amount you can get and it will all pay off. I'm sure it will feel soooo good to get a bit of cash in and more importantly a big weight/worry off your mind. As for the house you're only on this planet a little while and if you get to live in a place like yours that most of us could never afford then that's great. Owning your own house is fine but overrated, it's more about how you live your life. Good luck boss
It wasent worth selling and no one wants a petrol passat as they guzzle fuel On top of swapping the insurance to the micra and having no landline or internet It was easy just to scrap it @Paul Weeding Paul ive noticed the pics you posted of the work done whilst it was with you have gone from the thread I take it you still have them on your computer?
Yeah... bloody facebook have changed the tags again I don't know why they do that from time to time...
As long as you have the originals then thats fine Im going to have to get the paravan an engine and an mot As i forgot it still needs to come back to you for the sliding door and the rear carriers and those little touch ups we talked about Ive all ready spent a fourtune getting the bus moved round the uk since ive had it So it makes all round sense to get it on the road
