The sourdough pizza bases were a complete disaster incidentally. Catastrophic scenes of wet dough sticking to our guests' fingers like ectoplasm. We had to go and buy some Pizza Express ones and add a few toppings. The shame.

When I did my first try out the same thing happened , pizza express sold me some thin crust bases for the win.
I have more luck with roasting things but took a while getting the heat/timing right .

 

Looks great, I can just taste a white pizza coming on morzella cheese, strong blue cheese topped with apples. No Tom purée on it. Yum.

 

Probably best just to go straight down to Pizza Express and cut out the middleman ...

 

I built mine out of engineering bricks and fire bricks. Insulated with vermiculite. I've had mine over 750!! Quickest pizza has cooked in 30 seconds. I usually fire it up about 3 hours before to get the heat into the fire bricks. Don't use it a lot, but it's great when I do. Putting a tandoori oven next to it!

 

At that temperature you could Hire it out to a local potter!
And a tandoori oven.... Wow. Gonna be great.

 

I am now experiencing oven envy....

I have cooked bread , roasts , pizzas and many bbq bits n bobs , just takes time to work out cooking times = great fun for the fire bug

There's a place up north that sells little red baseball caps for pigeons.

They've got "Make Barnsley Great Again" written on them........

 

Don't suppose you do pet cremations ?

Think I'd have saved my time and money and gone on holiday instead.

 

So what's next for all you outdoor pizza oven types?

Hot tubs or saunas?

 

The pine trees looking bit sad

 

Or elderly relatives? You'd have to dismember them first, of course.

 

That looks very Middle Earth - you could spawn Orks in there....
