I'll admit I found this month's issue of "What Allotment?" quite a good read.

Now thas talkin lad. Some o them water butts are a bit tasty!

 

I used a mix of vermiculite and fire cement & sand so it works as a thermal blanket . Once she's up to them around 3hrs , I can cook pizza in less than a 30secs

 

So it takes 3hrs and 30 seconds to cook a pizza ...

 

I've just bought one of these.

Ours is stone though, not clay.
