Anyone got an opinion on new cab doors from JK? I phoned FBI today and they don't have any late cab doors... Could be months before they get more in. Ta

About the doors, you could try VW evolution - I got a pair off them just before christmas. They used to be in Westbury but moved to somewhere nr Salisbury now. Cheers Matt
That's the route I intended to go down, but FBI are my usual port of call, I don't know any other rust free importers
I was happy - no rust couple of dents as expected. I bought a load of stuff off him (Ceri) - think the doors were 120 and 150 'cos one still had opening q/lights and glass, winder mech still in.
Mine came from FBI and were £250 each complete with 1/4 lights. Have you tried here http://www.southwestsplitz.co.uk/parts.php Someone on here had JK ones and the fit was poor.
Actually I can't remember - anyway I paid him £500 just checked the spreadsheet! and he gave me 2 doors, engine lid and a rear hatch! one door had glass and opening q/light and he gave me another opener as a brucie bonus!
Nice one I've emailed vw evolution, I know that FBI quoted me £200 without glass a few months ago and I thought cool I'll wait until nearer the time I need it... Doh
Have you tried Sussex Camper Parts? (used to be Southern Kombi Parts) http://www.sussexkamperparts.co.uk/ They were excellent when I needed a LHD sliding door, very good customer service.
I got my used door from Schofields. It was fine. Edit: actually, it wasn't. It was from a two-tone brown US bus...sort of human stool coloured.
I'd better check the doors that the PO provided with my bus! I've no idea where they came from, but they're even painted...
I could do this Paul as the frames are ok but I'm not a welder and the guy who does my welding reckons it will cost about the same to re-skin as to buy a rustfree
