Not quite 50 but I already need 3 pegs to hang out my pants and I make oooph noises when I have to stand up from bent knees. Am I in ?
Nearer 50 than 40, more hair on chest and back than head, feel the cold, have my own pair of slippers, only listen to radio 2, smooth 70's and Classic FM, can't drink more than 4 pints without having to keep going a pee all night, stopped eyeing up the twenty something's and now concentrate on the 'Julia Bradbury' types, the list goes on ........ Am I in ?
Almost 49, got 2 pair of slippers, smoke a pipe, worn out knees, sleep in a cotton pyjamas. And just discovered my bird is white
Its all beginning to make sense now, Ive just worked out what MOTTLBOFC means. Last night i was surprised to find out that Justin Timberlake is white , I always assumed he was a black singer (no kids you see) . Only ever listen to radio 2 and get upset when a regular DJ has a week off, as this seems to upset my daily routine , spend most of the time moaning about whats on TV , im sure there was more to watch when we had just 3 channels I would be worried if i didn't get up to pee in the night, and like a quiet pub with comfortable seating. Every thing ache's and i make an involantery noise every time i stand up OH GOD I AM OLD
purchased a lowered metalic blue and silver van with alloy wheels. am presently taking back to stock and raising it up to stock height. also removing all the trendy O'neals stickers (what are they anyway?) at the moment having a lot of fun deciding on curtain fabric!
I suffer from C.R.A.F.T.....and have a real bad knee, neck & back problems & want those bloody kids to stay off my lawn!
They do tend to infest such places in the school holidays. Their parents can be noisy and rude too....
Fairly new to TLB and "the scene" whatever that is , had a Bay in 1995-ish and foolishly sold it while the kids were still little . We realised the error of our ways and will be back on the road soon , it's our 30th wedding anniversary in a couple of months and it seemed a perfect way of selfishly celebrating. Can't believe it's now 30 years, the Silver Wedding seemed a milestone but I can assure you that we were but children at the the time...
