WANTED Non rusting headlight rims.

very cheap - are they ok?

 

No idea but seems to be the only plastic one I can find at short notice? I have the early 3 hole type with the earlier (nicer) rounded lense so no good to me but if they did a plastic chrome version of mine I would go for it - the damn metal things dont last no matter how good they are made today (only the original VW - with a curved rear inside (ooer) are best)

 

Getting a bit complex now with dibs for @scarletohara 's plastic trims.

Anyone interested in some metal single screw rims (not chrome) they are in paint which needs stripping,sanding,re spraying whatever. Think they are VW but can't see any stamp or numbers so possibly not. Incidentally they have never been chrome indeed I think they were satin black when I bought them new.

 

We got our plastic ones for MacK from C&C over a year ago and so far guess what?

My van has the original plastic rims but the chrome has pitted over time, didn't someone on here have a wife who'd started working at a plastic chroming firm?

 

I've found a place that does them cheap.

 

why dont you just get them powdercoated. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
