I would also like a pair if you still have some since my metal ones don't want to fit my new front nose. Hoping the plastic ones can flex a bit.

If they fit I'm happy to sell my rust free metal ones

Hi all I have found them I have 5 pairs used but been boxed for 20 odd years £25 a pair still nice & shiny & og vw

 

Are they "As New" and are they the one hole type?

Hi not new but very good used.They are proper type 2 1s as they have the water drip hole at 6 o'clock & are 1 hole at 9 o'clock

They aren't plastic, despite saying they are. (Ask me how I know)

 

Awesome patina there Glynn. Leave them outside until they are completely brown then @rickyrooo1 might have them off you.

 

Put some 3 screw ones on instead. My headlight rims are about the only thing not rusty on my bus.

Three screw ones are chromed brass, i.e. made properly, not Chinese Stainless.

 

I bought these from GSF and mine were plastic. They must have source from a different manufacturer.

 

Mine arrived yesterday and are definitely as metally as a metal thing.

Probably best speaking to them direct. The first plastic set they sent me were damaged (scratched) so I rang them and they sent another set out which were fine.
