I take it the smiles mean it went well then. Let's hope it passes MOT then as that doesn't give you any time to fix anything if it fails.
After a poo pants couple of days, I've had a chat with Ray this afternoon and I'll be dropping his van back to him later next week!! Losing essentially two days this week wasn't ideal, but my pooch had to come first, as he turned out to be terminally ill, and I made the tough decision to have him put to sleep yesterday morning... But I've been hard at it today and the engine now looks like this
Sorry to hear about your dog mate, been there a couple of times now and it's not an easy call. Keeping busy helps a bunch.
working all night? Our dog got put to sleep last year ,he was only 8 ,when they are old you come to terms with it better...
Sonny was only 8 too... But he'd dropped 6kg of body mass in a couple of weeks, so I knew it was bad!!
3 in a year?? Barn mate, that's awful Leave a massive hole... Never realised how attached I'd get to a smelly furry mutt
That's a horrible thing to have to do Paul. Take some comfort that you made the decision because it was in his best interests. Eventually that's all you can do for your pets, give them a dignified and painless exit. I shed lots of tears when my last dog went.
I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried like a baby!! As guilty as I felt for doing it, I knew that it was for the best... He was having a good-ish day when I took him in, as the last thing I wanted was for him to suffer to the very end!!
