Going to be a fun project with a blank canvas. Don't forget to use the search feature on here - it's not the best but it does usually come up with info you need :)

  10. Thanks for the info. I was wondering what thickness of ply to use. Also do the seatbelt Anchor points have to be welded in, as mine was a Panel van and didnt come as standard

  11. I've looked at Madmatz and had some samples sent, they look good :)

  12. Cool, only 40 ish mile away.
You'll find some very informative guys and girls on here that aren't too far from you - I'm unfortunately not one of them as I'm still very green!

Hello from Cheshire, yes you would want the seat belt mountings welding in, nice bus.

  18. If your just having lap belts no welding is needed
As the mounts fit on the opposite side of the panel to the seatbelts you can bond them into place or pop rivit them
Its only to hold them into place if you undo the bolts so they dont drop to the floor

  19. Welcome aboard the good ship TLB, if your new to campers the Sept Techenders.

We're in North Leicester & have relatives in and around Melton.

Are you going self build interior or having one built, have you got a bed for the back? If not there's a guy called @rustylee on here who makes them we fitted one in the Robowagen :D

Is just a matter of cutting a plate out welding the seat belt bolt onto the plate and then stitching it back ? Is there a how to on this forum ?
