  3. Thanks for that, its alot clearer now what i have to do. God knows what whoever put the sill on was doing?? or why theres the end piece missing :eek:

  6. Sorted the sill problem now...I think :thinking:

    Found an inner sill section in the bits that came with the campers, so cut the end piece off and welded to the fitted sill.

  10. Ok not done an update for a while, so i thought i'd better let you know whats been happening ;)

    After sorting out the jacking points and the inner sills etc, i had to replace the first top hat end sections both sides and the front center crossmember. Then replace the floor section...Sorry forgot to take any pics of this stage ::).

    Had to repair the cab fllor on the drivers side

    Replaced the deformation panel, and do various repairs behind etc

    The engine wouldnt turn when i tried turning the the crank pulley, so had to remove the engine to investigate. hoping it was just the pistons stuck i removed heads etc, but they were ok....So a strip down was in order, turned out to be the dizzy drive was siezed ???
    While the engine was out i replaced the right hand engine bay paneland resprayed the engine bay.

    There was various rot on the body that i cut out and replaced with good metal
    Roof section

    The rear crossmember was rotten as was the the valence so had to be replaced

    The rear corners had already been replaced and both battery trays, but bits seemed to be missing and had to replace parts so everything came together ::)

    Replaced the outer cill under the sliding door

    Also been building the interior,It came with the seat/bed and the rear units, but the side units was incomplete

    So built this the replace it with

    Both front arches had already been replaced

    Think thats about it for now, im sure there was more but cant think at the moment lol

  12. sprayed the cab yesterday.....was all Neptune blue

    couple coats of primer all round....

  15. Yeah, it coming along. Try and use as much free time working on it. Just forget to take pics as I go along :rolleyes:
    I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel on this one...As long as its not someone holding a torch
    to show me the rest of the way! lol
